This season SeaWorld has a few tricks up their sleeve; they are planning on passing out maps which lead to 15 different "candy" stations throughout the park so that your kid can collect as many delicious treats as possible and have a unique and non-terrifying experience. There's this event they call "Spooktacular" where you can meet all sorts of amazing and exciting sea creatures like sea horses and dolphins. No park is complete without the Sesame Street friends: Elmo and Count von Count will be counting down to Halloween onstage with a special guest appearance from the Gummy Worm Wanda. You'll find Gummy Worm Wanda wandering the streets looking to make your little one's day. Of course, make sure your kids have a fun and comfortable Halloween costume and you might as well wear one too; you're on vacation! Of course, in Orlando, we all think of Disney World and the good news is that they will be getting in on the Halloween celebration too. They'll also be offering a child-friendly spooky Halloween.
Join Mickey on his spookiest holiday party up to date where your kids can go trick-or-treat around the Magic Kingdom and have the pleasure of meeting world famous Disney characters. You can look forward to Mickey's party to end with a bang with the display of fireworks and a special holiday parade. If shopping is your thing, there are Mickey stores located throughout the park along with many other shopping options whether you're looking for a new outfit or a souvenir. Undoubtedly, the place in Orlando for a truly "terrifying" Halloween experience is Universal Studios. This is for the hard core "horror" fans and you don't want to attend unless you have the stomach for being a bit scared. Even the most die hard fan can find their thirst for thrill seeking satisfied. Whether it be the haunted houses or the popular Horror Night mazes, you'll equally love the 'horror' factor that these attractions provide. Other scary places that are a must to creep in to are the Intense scare zones and Bill and Ted's Excellent Halloween Adventure.
The past Halloween's at Universal Studios will seem juvenile compared to the SCARINESS they have planned for this year. Please be advised that Horror Nights may be too explicit for young children as stated in Universal's own web site.
