Former Bank of the Commonwealth exec pleads guilty (hamptonroads)

NORFOLK A former vice president at Bank of the Commonwealth pleaded guilty to a bank fraud charge today as part of the government's ongoing investigation of wrongdoing at the failed bank. Called by his attorney the low man on the totem pole, Jeremy C. Churchill, 35, faces up to five years in prison. He is scheduled to be sentenced in August.
