Why does my cat 'howl and meow' at a tiny little stuffed toy?
Particularly when I leave the room, my cat gives off this 'howly meow' over and over again with her stuffed toy at her feet.
Is she spayed? It sounds like she thinks this little toy is one of her babies. I think even if she is spayed they sometimes still think of certain objects as being their offspring. I have heard of cats carrying socks around like kittens.
