I want to hook up my rope lights to my car with a switch?
I would really like to have step by step instructions on how I would do that. The lights that I am useing are made for 12volts and only came with two wires.
It's pretty simple really. Figure out where you want the lights and the switch. Mount the switch and lights. Connect the ground to the chassis. Route the power wire to one terminal on the switch. And from the other terminal on the switch, run a wire to a 12v source. You can go all the way to the battery if you want. But, you probably have an open spot on the fuse block.
