I don't know about a story...but how about a poem that includes them all? O come little children, bring joy to the world To a babe in a manger we three kings were lured A heavenly song echoed sweet through the sky Godd tidings of angels we have heard on high That very first Christmas their voices did swell To share their elation on that first noel. And down through the years in his memory we keep All our hopes in our prayers before we fall asleep And that night is remembered in this day and time When high in the sky Santa's reindeer will climb It's jolly old St. Nicholas there at the reins Bringing curly haired dolls and shiny toy trains When up on the housetop his laden sleigh waits As he leaves us all presents; takes cookies from plates But what is the meaning of this holiday Have we all forgotten that time when away In a manger a holy child came to this earth And brought us great love on that day of his birth No, the meaning of Christmas is still with us now Through our tears and our troubles we still see somehow The beauty of giving and sharing our love And remembering the star that was shining above Our gifts and the blessings of Christ reconciled When Christmas is seen through the eyes of a child.
