What's the best play food set you can buy for a 1 year old?
I don't just mean the brand, but the actual set (for instance Melissa & Doug Food Groups etc). Thank you!
I agree with the first answerer. I had bought my daughter a very nice set from The Learning Group made of wood pieces that velcroed together. so you could "cut" the fruit and vegetables apart. I thought it was terrific and the perfect size for her little hands. She greatly preferred the no-name dollar store plastic set her grandmother sent her. Top of the line stuff doesn't really matter to a one year old. Trust me, I thought it would make a difference. Now my daughter is three. She loves playing kitchen and I'm perfectly satisfied to give her the old empty cereal box and the rinsed out ketchup bottle. She is happy, and I keep that much more money in my purse. It all works out in the end.
