Planes of Google Earth Flight Simulator by Peter Wilsonage
Earth Flight Simulator was initially an Easter egg found in the Google Earth stand alone map viewer. With it being a hidden additional feature the simulator only initially permits users to control two planes; the F- 16 Fighting Falcon and the Cirrus SR-22. The two aircraft are modeled after genuine plane designs and both are currently still in action.
F- 16 Fighting Falcon
F-16s have been in a great number of battles on account of their abundance and reputation. It is a smaller sized, lightweight descendant of the F-16. It makes use of the first flight control system that can engage in enhanced maneuver's. This gives it the potential to very easily handle 9-g maneuvers. Designed for velocity, the Fighting Falcon can reach Mach 2 speeds and is capable to withstand turns of as much as 9 g-forces. Being a single-engine aircraft contributes to its weight; this helps make it an perfect option for a variety of forms of operations. Less plane means smaller prices, which means it's able to offer continuous alert. It's designed using the most recent cutting-edge know-how, such as a reclined seat which reduces g-force effects, a frameless bubble canopy which increases visibility along with a side-mounted control stick for smoother movement. The version available in the Earth Flight Simulator closely mimics the high velocity and simple maneuverability of its real life counterpart. It can get to much higher altitudes than the Cirrus SR-22. Take note, as when landing the user has to keep the velocity at approximately 200 knots or it will likely be at danger of crashing. The take-off speed is 225 knots. Due to high speeds, it is a challenge to get the F-16 to level out at 33,500 ft at speeds of 510 knots. This plane is perfect for real speed demons!
Cirrus SR-22
The Cirrus SR22, a favorite aircraft amongst new buyers, is a plane built to increase the basic safety of flight. An upgrade of the Cirrus SR20, some of the enhancements designed are a greater wingspan, the capacity to hold much more fuel and a 310 horsepower engine. Developed with safety in mind, the Cirrus includes the advanced Cirrus Aircraft Parachute System; this helps make it one of the safest and most trusted beginner planes on the private aircraft niche. As opposed to a many other aircraft in its class, the SR22's landing gear is non-retractable. The Cirrus SR-22 can be an ideal choice when understanding the Earth Flight Simulator controls. When taking off, the speed has to reach 75 knots and to proficiently land without crashing, the pace should be at 70 knots. To get a closer look at the Google Earth's landscape, the Cirrus SR-22 is easy to fly at low altitudes, making it an awesome choice for those wanting to take the more scenic route.
