i want to find a movie that will actually scare me!?
ok i have seen so many scary movies and none of them get me scared. i have seen all the usual suggestions like the saw movies, hostel, halloween, devils rejects, friday the 13th, and carrie, etc. all of the movies now a days are just gorey not actually scary and i just want to find one that will scare me. and all of the older horror movies are just funny because of the lack of effects and stuff so it takes away from the plot because i'm too busy laughing at the ridiculous shit in the movie. for example, i recently saw the evil dead and it was the most ridiculous movie, i couldnt stop laughing at how bad it was and how bad the effects were. someone PLEASE give me some good recommendations, i am desperate! thanks!
Japanese horror movies. The difference with Hollywood Horror is that these movies don´t rely on overdone special effects or tons of blood. Movies like the Grudge and all the 4 Ring movies rely on a strong storyline where the tension is always under your skin. And the mystery isn´t always solved...they love an open ending.
