What grout colour should I use to grout a gold Mosaic?
I have made my first Mosaic!! woo hoo! It's a blue flower and I've used a gold glitter background. I'm not sure what colour to grout the gold background and was thinking of a blue to match the flower a little? Do you think this would clash if I used this colour agains the gold? Any ideas would be much appreciated :)
You will need a neutral colour as a colour too close to the ones used will make it look bland and from a distance they will blend together. What you could do is take some of the tiles you have left and put them onto different coloured papers or card and then stand about 6 feet away and see which ones give the best effect, you want a background that will allow the design to stand out but not stand out itself. With gold and blue you might find a cream grouting will work the best. I hope this helps!!
