Comment on Fast-acting deputies foil kidnapping in Highlands Ranch (Denver Post)

There is a whole lot we're not being told about this story. Why were the cops there so quickly? Why did the mom leave the kids in the car with the engine running(no parent I've ever known would do this, even for a second). How can they be so sure, so quickly, about the kidnappers motives? And why are they so forthcoming about this particular detail?
