What setting should i put my camera on for taking pictures of christmas trees?
i have a Lumix FZ47v camera, What setting should i put it on to get closest to this result? set the camera to automatic, but make sure you turn off the room lights and not use the cameras own built in flash. Also, to do this correctly, yo uwill need to place your camera on a tripod or some other support so it won't move during the exposure. You will get a very dramatic effect that will be totally awesome. The camera will take a time exposure of about an 1/8th of a sec at ISO 200. That is too long to handhold the camera yourself that is why you need the tripod.
