What color light do gorillas reflect in their eyes?
If they are sitting in the dark and light hits their eyes, what color does it reflect? Serious answers only please.
if its daylight.... you will just see the brown iris. becasue a mixture of wave lengths make us see brown. in the dark..?? Some animals, like for example Cats' eyes shine in the dark due to the presence of a light-reflecting surface called the tapetum lucidum, located behind the retina. These layers of special glittering cells are made of the substance guanine- but vary between cat species, hence the colour they reflect. Most primates do not have a Tapetum lucidum, including humans, chimps, and baboons. Some of the nightdwelling primates like lemurs do, but not tarsiers.
