What is a timeless collectible Christmas ornament?
My husband and I collect Department 56 "North Pole" houses and we'd like to start a collection for our daughter that we can pass down to her. Because storing a collection takes space, I was thinking ornaments. I don't want to collect Department 56 ornaments and was trying to think of a collection that would be just as nice. Any suggestions?
I'm not the best in this department but I love the Christmas ornaments at Hallmark. I would think that their more expensive ornaments would be great collectibles.. or any of them for that matter. Or, you can browse a free classified ad site and search for collectible ornaments and I'm sure you could find some rare or in-demand ones.
