Where does the bible mention Santa, the Easter bunny, Christmas trees, etc?
Not to mention the fact that Easter and Christmas were Pagan holidays to celebrate solstice. Plus, why is the story of Jesus almost an identical copy from the story of Horus and at least 13 other gods throughout history? So I guess my real question is: Why, if Christianity is the ONLY way, did it almost one hundred percent copy its holidays, symbols (such as the cross), and even the story of Jesus from other religions?
Considering we don't celebrate solstice, but are celebrating events that pertain to our religion, the date correlation isn't enough to justify the claim that we're celebrating Pagan holidays. The Romans were pagans, and crucified people on crosses. Whether that was religious or just convenient for it's purpose, like how a circle is convenient shape for making a wheel, is irrelevant. Wheel manufacturers aren't unwittingly worshiping the sun-god. Non-Christians that are born on Christmas Day aren't unwittingly worshiping baby Jesus by celebrating their own birthday. Santa, Easter bunnies, and Christmas trees are cultural traditions. Christians who can see the fun in these traditions aren't unwittingly being Pagan. No offense but...use your brain.
