My husband has 2 kids and see them twice a year, his ex says they may not be his, and she has even pressed?
felony child support on him...She will not let him have a number where she is, won't let him see them, and this twice a year stuff to me is for the birds (Christmas and Birthday). The kids don't look anything like him and they seperated when they were 1 and 6 months old, they are now 5 and 6. I think he should go to court and do something but he won't, so the other alternative I said was let them be and wait til they were older to understand and then do something...He has to go to old neighbors to find them at Christmas and birtdays..to me this is insane, and we argue..I say either be a dad as full time as you can be or just move on! This sitting in libo is nuts.. any opinions?? or advice?? He won't go to court and there is no reasoning with his ex.. I even bought a kit so he could establish paternity, but he won't do it.
The fact that he won't do anything suggests that he already knows they are his and that he has been feeding you a line for whatever reason there might be for him to do that, and if that is the case he should pay child support. Whether he fights to see them or not is his own personal decision, maybe he doesn't want to play daddy or maybe he wants to stay as far away from his ex as possible. Maybe he is afraid of her because she knows something you don't. ;-)
